The
process for achieving the School Safety Trust Mark or Early Education and Child
Care Centre Trust Mark Certification is designed to be straightforward and
efficient, with our SaaS Assessment Platform serving as the default method for
a seamless, digital experience. This ensures schools and centres can complete
assessments quickly and securely from anywhere.
1. Registration: Schools or Early Education
and Child Care Centres register for the respective Trust Mark certification.
2. Confirmation: SSAI confirms the
registration of the institution.
3. Payment: The institution pays for
assessment ratings and certification services.
4. Access: Upon payment, the institution
gains access to SSAI's SaaS Assessment Platform, our primary tool for
self-assessments and submissions.
Note:
For institutions in limited access scenarios (e.g., areas with unreliable
internet), an offline option is available on request. This allows completion
via a downloadable scoreboard template, which can be submitted for manual
review. Contact support at info@school-safety.org or
(+91) 8425906626 to discuss this backup method.
5. Submission: The institution completes and
submits a self-assessment ratings questionnaire through the platform (or via
the offline method if approved).
6. Assessment: An SSAI-approved assessor
reviews the submitted questionnaire for Trust Mark Certification or conducts
Technical Verification using SSAI's SaaS and ICT Platform for Trust Mark Plus
Certification.
7. Feedback: The institution receives
comprehensive School Safety Ratings and feedback report for internal evaluation
and continuous improvement.
8. Certification: Upon successful review, the
institution is awarded the School Safety Trust Mark Certificate or Early
Education and Child Care Centre Trust Mark Certificate. For Trust Mark Plus
Certification, this includes meeting technical verification standards.
9. Annual Reassessment: Annually, the institution
undergoes reassessment to maintain and enhance safety standards, ensuring
ongoing compliance and improvement efforts are sustained.
The
Result
At the
culmination of the certification process for the School Safety Trust Mark or
Early Education and Child Care Centre Trust Mark, institutions can expect a
robust validation of their commitment to safety and quality standards.
Beginning with registration and confirmation of participation, SSAI facilitates
a streamlined journey where institutions gain access to our advanced SaaS
Assessment Platform upon payment (with offline support available for select
cases). Through this platform, they submit a comprehensive self-assessment
ratings questionnaire, which undergoes thorough review by an SSAI-approved
assessor. Institutions receive detailed feedback and School Safety Ratings,
empowering them with actionable insights for ongoing internal evaluation and continuous
improvement efforts. Successful completion of the review results in the
prestigious School Safety Trust Mark or Early Education and Child Care Centre
Trust Mark Certification, symbolizing adherence to recognized standards and
best practices. Annual reassessment ensures that institutions maintain and
enhance their safety protocols, fostering a secure environment conducive to
learning and development.
